The Zadig driver is for enabling passthrough (e.g. For example, the Nyko gamecube adapter will not work because dolphin is specifically looking for a driver called adapter 'For Wii U', and the nyko adapter driver calls the device 'For Switch'. If it doesn't then the controller might just not be compatible with PC without using some sort of specialized driver and then there is nothing we/the developers can do about it and you should start complaining to the people that made the controller to write a driver for you (if not readily available). Dolphin (particularly android) has a problem with anything that isnt genuine Nintendo hardware with the exception of the dolphin bar. So I bought a GameCube controller adapter, and while it works fine on the Nintendo Switch and WiiU (its intended use), I decided to try and use it to play some Super Smash Bros. Repeated all previous steps but downloaded Zadig Looked under Devices in Dolphin to see If my device was picked up, saw it was not.Īfter looking through videos and posts I tried to edit the drivers: Setting Port 1 of GameCube Controllers to Standard Controller Making sure that my computer did pick up controller (Image01)
